Today was bring your dog to work day BlackH2oDog Charters. Fisher was ready early and was the first to the boat today. We meet Josh and Ryan and headed to the border to pull crawler harnesses. We had a bit of a slow start in the gin clear water. We picked away but no real pattern. We made a run to visit the Pelicans and it was game on. We dialed these fish in at 2 oz 40 and 50 back with the dipsey 3 setting at 28 back. TruTrip 50 was working at 32 back. Josh and Ryan made quick work of running the Off Shore Tackle Company planner boards. Our speed was 1.5. mph. Fish Hawk Electronics were key to staying at the correct speed and the current although not strong varied greatly in both the uphill and downhill trolls.
