Kurt, Jared, Lauren, Darryl & Josh from Seattle fished with us today aboard GOOD DAY. The day got off to a flying start when we literally had only just put our first Squidnation daisy chain in the water when a Marlin came up behind it. We did not have a single line in the water and quick thinking Yoxan put a lure into the Marlins path and hooked the fish immediately. Possibly the quickest Marlin ever hooked aboard GOOD DAY. Jared had an excellent battle with the Marlin for 50 minutes before the fish was brought alongside the boat and released after a quick photo. Kurt, Lauren, Josh & Darryl then all got into Sailfish each releasing 1 Sailfish each. Final tally for the day was 1 Blue Marlin & 4 Sailfish. We are back out there tomorrow and expect the bite to start really picking up this week as the moon fades.
