Trip Summary

Conditions were near perfect. Light south west wind. Water color ideal, river temp 76 degrees. Storm front moving in but we had good weather during this trip. Fishing was good for bass but tough for walleye. Only got 2 in the boat and lost 2 others. Fished river and lake on a vertical jig program. Its been a idd year so far. Every outing gets walleye but the numbers are not good.

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.

Heavy west winds, but the fishing was incredible. Water color was a chalky green, and the water temperature was 48.6 degrees. Plenty of steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout . Bead bite is all we needed to crush fish today.
