Trip Summary

Put in at the Capano bridge in Rockport, Tx. Day started out slow with no winds and high pressure. found some rat reds around a few reefs. moved to deeper water for the major & trout bite was on fire. Caught 2 limits and let many go with big one going 6#.

Met my College Station (whoop) clients at Conn Brown boat ramp in Aransas Pass, Tx. Made a little trip to Shamrock Island in Corpus Christi bay. Picked up a few decent trout and then had 2 boats come up on us. Guys asked to go fornsome reds so we hopped over to Pink Shack Cove where it was non stop red action with a few bonus flounder. Met group at the St. Charles Bay boat ramp in Rockport, Texas. We made a little run to Mesquite Bay where we started off the afternoon in Bray Cove. Lots of bait present in Bray but no size to the fish. We continued working the shorelines up towards Ayres Dugout where we started seeing better fish & released a few oversize trout with the biggest one going 25". Customers kept a few for dinner.
