Trip Summary

Fished a morning half day went to an artificial wreck and decided to anchor up and do some bottom fishing because we had a fair amount of North current. We fished live Pilchards in the bottom and some surface threadfin herrings and we could not keep a bait in the water. We ended up keeping two 10 pound mutton snappers and 4 10-15 pound kingfish.

We had Saxon and his buddy out fishing, the weather was not the greatest but the guys were down to give it a shot. We started out kite fishing with Live baits and on our first drift we caught a 25 pound King Mackerel. Reset a little bit deeper the second time and had 3 sailfish swim up and hooked all 3. Had to chase them down in pretty bumpy conditions but we got them and then caught a four foot Reef Shark.
