Trip Summary

Spinnerbaits and chatterbaits are working well in the tulies. Fish are in 3 to 8 feet of water. Concentrate on the tulies that are alive and healthy. 80 degrees weather this week, fish should start spawning this week.

Light line and finesse presentations are dominating right now. Lake is seeing lots of pressure from anglers. Catching some big fish! Better to get the bites and take our chances with light line then not getting many bites at all. Drop shot, senkos and shaking a small minnow on a jig head seems to be the deal.

The last two days have been phenomenal fishing! Mike here ended up with two bass over 8 lbs, two over 7, a 6, and multiple 3 and 4 lbers over the last couple days. There are definitely bite windows. Water temps are around 51 degrees. 3 days of warm weather and the lake is going to explode!
