Trip Summary

We fished the solar eclipse on the lower Niagara river on April 8th. Purely magical is the only way I can describe it.Just complete peace and serenity. Mostly bass. But had some trout on as well. Cloudy overcast chilly kinda day

River temperature 39° winds east at 7 miles an hour. Water color near perfect brown trout hit plugs mid river steelhead hit beads and eggs in the upper sections of the river.
