Trip Summary

We fished a morning half day today with christine and her family from Ohio. We loaded the boat up with some live bait and decided on doing some light tackle fishing with spinning rods for more action. We caught our limit of kingfish plus a bunch more and some bonitas and blackfin tunas. A lot of fun and action to be had by everyone.

We had Saxon and his buddy out fishing, the weather was not the greatest but the guys were down to give it a shot. We started out kite fishing with Live baits and on our first drift we caught a 25 pound King Mackerel. Reset a little bit deeper the second time and had 3 sailfish swim up and hooked all 3. Had to chase them down in pretty bumpy conditions but we got them and then caught a four foot Reef Shark.
