Trip Summary

Our Kids Pro Fish School hosted 35 students apart of the Big Brothers Fishing Retreat on 5/4/24. The Fulton County Gov officials, Police, Fire and Employees all joined The Mayor of Atlanta, Andrea Dickens during our 2nd annual fishing retreat.

Kids Pro Fish School class was a success. We caught CatFish, Yellow Perch and BlueGill, after learning about three different types of Rod & Reel Combo’s including a FlyRod & Reel. We taught lining up each rod, tying knots and applying bait onto hooks. After that we started catching fish.

Kids Pro Fish School - Fishing Class: These two kiddo’s learned Fly Casting and more. We ended up Bass Fishing and landed one spotted bass in our session. These students were great listeners and learned so much quick. I cant wait to see what the future holds for them both.
