Trip Summary

Off this afternoon on the 1st "Happy Crabber Trip " of the season and it was a smashing success !! We did well trolling in the calm deep water back channels of Pamlico Sound catching Spanish Mackerel & Bluefish. We then fished our Blue Crab traps and had a ton of Crabs. The orange basket in the photo is full of crabs!!

Well is was blowing harder today than yesterday...North/West a steady 25 knots gusting to 30 plus at times. We anchored up in the white water at Cape Point for a while trying to catch a Drum...no Drum..Caught some Bluefish ...finally ended up in the Sound trolling and did OK on the Bluefish
