Greg and Scott have been fishing partners for over 30 years. They hail from an area very close to Indiana. Indiana Pennsylvania that is. Admittedly, without their previous fishing experience, today could have been brutal. The heat kicked up to near 90 degrees and the surface water temperature was over 76 degrees. Not exactly ideal smallmouth conditions. But after a bit of searching we found some fish. They were spread out (like they’ve been lately). Scott was pretty steady all day landing several smallmouth in between a few sheephead. Seemed like he was gonna dominate the day but Greg eventually got rolling. He boated many large sheephead early, then started in on the smallmouth. Catching a couple in the three pound range. The day ended with Scott losing a big smallmouth as it jumped over 20’ from the boat. (He probably won’t love me for sharing this?) Another great day spending time with excellent men.
