Trip Summary

Been going scouting here lately since had some cancelations due to hurricane beryl that hit the Texas coast. We are catching everything. Trying new areas to see if they are producing and so far so good. Early mornings we are catching fish on plastics then switching to live shrimp late mornings. Fishing from the marsh to the gulf of mexico.

Had a couple of wind days finally laid down and tbe bite was on. We did managed to get some live shrimp to use as well as artificial lures.

Fishing had been tough but since spring has started with warmer weather. The action has turned on. The past twp days we have caught more fish than we have in two weeks. Both days have caught well over 50 fish. We are catching them from live shrimp if they have them to plastics on a slow retrieve. The more days we have warmer weather and these fronts start to slow down fishing will be getting awesome.

Took a couple buddies with me today looking doe speckled trout post cold front. Did not find any but found redfish at every spot we stopped at and a bonus flounder. Fishing is going to be on fire the more it warms up.
