Trip Summary

We had a beautiful day with both an early morning half day and and extended afternoon trip. The water and winds finally are cooperating again and the water was like glass. Red Grouper were caught of keeper size at the 8-9 mile mark bottom fishing with live and cut bait. We had three sharks on the morning trip to add to the action. Everyone on board had FISH ON! This is the time of year to be on the water with Smokin' Hooks.

The fishing has been ON out of Wiggins Pass with Captain Brian and Crew at Smokin’ Hooks. We’ve landed Pompano, Barracuda, Cobia, Macks, Snook, Snapper and more this week despite some windy weather. Even better than the fishing is the memories made this week. We can’t recall a more solid week of epic customers - just back to back awesome people on board. Just know you made our week!
