Sunday the 1st & Monday the 2nd of September 2024 - red snapper season is open! And the season continues on Friday , Saturday & Sundays all the way thru the end of November! Gag Grouper is open Sept 1st - the 15th. Amberjack is open Sept 1st - the end of October. Trigger fish is open until the end of the year. I suggest a 6hr deepsea trip or longer to get on these fish. The longer the trip, the more chance we have to get several of these fish in our coolers. All of these mentioned fish are incredible table fair!! And they all get large in size! Fall weather is usually some of the best weather windows of the year, what I mean by that is the wave heights in the gulf are usually very mild, and also of course the temperature is usually much more bearable than the hot summer months!!
