Trip Summary
An end of summer tradition. Once the water temperature in Jamaica Bay reaches its peak, expect banded rudderfish to be a frequent bycatch while targeting any of out local species.
As our water temperature falls, bait will flush out of our harbors and be met by ravenous schools of striped bass and bluefush. Affectionately called the “fall run”.
