The water temperature is 64 degrees. Winds started out of the northwest in the morning, then moved to a southwest by early afternoon. Water clarity was perfect. Better fishing today than a few days ago. Golden shiners took fish consistently throughout the day. Trick was to keep moving to fine shelter from wind. Despite having big Northwest winds, we're able to get on to a fairly decent bite today. Many bass cooperated throughout the day, and we even picked up a large, lower Niagara river walleye. Water temperature was 66° winds were wnw at 15 to 20 miles an hour. Water clarity was clear to slightly stained. Drifted live bait for bass pulled plugs the remainder of the day for bass and walleye

Big southwest winds, couldn't drift bait in that current speed. Decided to drift plugs with the current, we were able to pick up some decent bass and a couple of really big walleye
