Trip Summary

The sturgeon were biting today for our clients. The fishing is good and getting better after the recent heavy rains. The February and March outlook is awesome for sturgeon with our mild winter and warm water temps!

Today was the day before Mother’s Day, and we had a great day Fishing, despite the big crowds of fisherman on the bay. We decided to get away from the crowds and fish for bigger stripers, and we found them right away. Awesome Green on the stripers and a few Halibut to put icing on the Mother’s Day cake! We love our job!!!

Today we narrowed our focus and went on a hunt for some big halibut and we were very successful. Our group caught 3 halibut with 2 being in the 20lb class plus 8 very nice grade stripers. Lots of action on smaller halibut made for a busy day on the deck. Very good fishing going on right now!
