Trip Summary

Our Flounder are back inshore after spending the winter months offshore. They’re starting to get into presictable patterns and are being caught on every inshore trip that goes back into the marshes now. Last year, our flounder averaged about 18” with tons of 20-22 inchers mixed in, and a 23-24 incher every now and then. I believe his year will be an epic year for flounder in Ocean Isle Beach!

October Bull Red Action at Ocean Isle Beach! The fall run is in full swing, and our guests have been catching some incredible bull red drum off Ocean Isle Beach. This beauty measured right at 40 inches and was caught on fresh-cut bait during a perfect outgoing tide. October is prime time for trophy drum in our area, and conditions couldn’t be better — light winds, clean water, and steady current. These big reds are moving through now, and we’re making the most of it!
