Trip Summary

On April 23rd, we went out for a 4-hour fishing tour with a family on a warm, partly cloudy morning. The weather was great, with calm seas and a light breeze, making it a comfortable day to be on the water. The sun peeked out from behind the clouds now and then, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. As we started trolling with live bait, the family was excited to see what we might catch. After a little while, we got a bite. It wasn’t a strong strike, but with some patience, we managed to catch a nice mahi mahi. Mahi mahi season is just starting, and it’s great to see them showing up. May will be the best time to catch mahi mahi in this area, so it’s a good opportunity for a fishing trip. The family had a relaxed and fun time. Everyone joined in, whether it was helping with the fishing or just enjoying the calm surroundings. It was a great morning on the water, and the family made the most of their time together, making it a memorable experience.

On May 19th at 8:00am we ran a 6-hour snorkel and fishing combo tour using live bait while trolling. The weather was mostly sunny with some partial clouds throughout the morning. Although the sea was choppy at times, conditions remained good and manageable for both fishing and snorkeling activities. The waters were lively, with several white marlins spotted and actively feeding, which made for some exciting fishing action. And we caught a beautiful large white marlin! Snorkeling visibility was fair, enhanced by the intermittent sunlight breaking through the clouds. Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable day on the water, offering great experiences for both anglers and snorkelers alike.

Teen Anglers Hook Big Action on a Sunny

On the morning of May 18th, a group of four teenage boys on vacation kicked off a 6-hour fishing adventure at 6 AM. The weather was mostly sunny with some partial clouds, and although the sea was a little choppy, conditions were perfect for a fun day trolling with live bait. The young anglers landed two barracudas, adding excitement to their trip. They also had a mahi mahi on the line but couldn’t quite bring it in. The most thrilling moment came when they caught half of a mahi mahi, only to have it chased away by a larger fish while still hooked. Overall, despite a few challenges, the group had a memorable and action-packed morning filled with great fishing and adventure.
