As the waters continue to warm and the weather stabilizes, big fish are moving from south to north creating multiple chances at the fish of a lifetime. Trophy striped bass and bull redfish cruise the surf and inlet areas, while larger flounder move into their summertime ambush spots. Beat the holiday rush by fishing this week. As we turn the page on the calender, winter has begun to set in earnest. Water temps in the 30s have slowed the bite to a trickle, but the few fish we are catching are an impressive size, including this 30 incher (released) on New Years Eve. As the north winds howl, we have begun to set the table for the coming season. A new motor, new trailer, and all-Tackle update and rigging. All this to provide the angler the highest degree of performance and reliability possible. We are seeking a historical designation for "Shadrunner" as a working waterman's vessel. She's been a great old vessel and we hope to see her for many seasons to come. Our plan is no price increase for 2025 to continue our tradition of "Affordable Family Fun Fishing".
