The water temperature here in Kona has reached 80°. And the skipjack tuna are starting to roll in! Today was a great day going 3 out of four on skipjack 20 pounds or bigger.

Yesterday was a nice fishing trip on a four hour day catching this nice little blue marlin about 120 pounds. Action has been good right out in front of the harbor from 1000 fathoms to 1500 fathoms with skipjack tuna schools coming in along with some larger, yellowfin, tuna, and Marlin! Small pink bullets on the Riggers and the stinger I’ve been very effective the last few days

We’ve had some great light Tackle action in front of Kona the last few days. We skipjack tuna schools. Changing out gear and putting out smaller lures has been very effective from catching Skipjacks from 10 pounds to 30 pounds.
