We are seeing some decent sized Chinook salmon showing up at the Red Can right off Ucluelet.
Conditions have been "sporty" some days, with big NW swells and some windy days, but there have been good fish around to make up for the lump.
We are also getting halibut trolling just offshore on the Lighthouse Bank, and lingcod are biting inshore as well.
