My job isnt to fish from 7-3 or 8-4, my job is to put my customers on the best bite possible. We changed this trip to 2-10 pm to hit the best bite window and it paid off. Depsite the flat calm conditions, we mananged a decent walleye bite.

It was a cold one today, but boy did the fish cooperate. It really didn’t matter what we did we caught fish. We got the first musky of the season, even though it’s not open, but you can’t help it when you’re fishing Pike. It was really blowing today, but we could manage a good controlled drift and picked up a few walleyes a bunch of largemouth and some more pike. We even ended the day catching some postponed crappies but boy it sure was a chilly one.

For that matter, everything is snapping! Its only going to get better as we head into the fall. I see this fall being as good as any!
