Iโm probably a tough grader.ย My day on Okeechobee with John Larsen was great!ย John is a fine fisherman and a pleasure to spend time with.ย He knows the lake and kept us safely and comfortably out of the high winds and roughest water all day.ย Between the two of us, we landed about 10 mid-size bass over 6 hours on the water, all on artifical lures. Ideally, we would have been on the fish more and had a more productive day, but I donโt blame John for this.ย I will definitely hire John on my next trip to Okeechobee (if I canโheโs pretty heavily booked up) and would highly recommend him to anyone who takes their fishing seriously.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and leaving this recommendation. I wish every day could be a big number of catches, and all big fish, it just does not happen like that. We worked hard, especially with artificial lures to get on them and the biggest ones possible. I am glad you had a great time and look forward to fishing with you again in the future. Till next time!
Captain John knows what hes doing. He got us on fish right away even in super windy weather! We only had a couple hours to fish because of the weather and it felt like we were bring bass in the boat non stop. Captain John has a wealth of knowledge that even experienced anglers can learn from. Highly recommend!

Capt Mark did his best to put us on fish after the cold front came through.ย Only caught a couple but not from lack of trying.ย Mark was very knowledgeable and pulled out all the stops to try and make it a good day.

Captain Cody ensured my sonโs wish to fish Okeechobee and land Peacock Bass all in one day. Super tough bite on Okeechobee but more than made up for it with 15+ good Peacocks, Chiclid and even a Snake head in the afternoon.ย Great guy to spend the day with and laughed a lot. Great day. Great experience.
planned a two day fishing trip with Captain John a couple months in advance. Arctic freeze came through a week or two before we fished, really slowed down the fishing. Captain John got us on the Fish anyway, greatly appreciated.
