Captain & crew good. Replacement boat not as nice as Guaycura which they said was being serviced. Cheaper than most other boats.

Crew worked hard to get us into some fish. We had two Marlin hookups and landed one fish. It should be made clear that the balance owed before leaving the dock is a cash only transaction.

Our Captain though nice would not leave the line of sight of the Arches. I told him a bunch of times “let’s go get Tuna” and he just circled around a small area about 2 miles out or followed the shoreline. The only thing he seemed able to do was get Dorado along the shore. Totally unacceptable. I also asked to get any type of marlin but he just ignored me. The mate tried as best he could and even argued w the captain at one point about it. Do not go out w this boat again. No cooler for boated fish, not nearly enough ice to keep things cooled down, and the engine made a weird whistling sound that hurt my ears. We cruised around the arches AFTER we left for almost 45 minutes waiting on a guy to get us more ice - then he only brought one small bag. Not a good way to start.

We then finished fishing and Miguel - our Captain -immediately jumped off the boat with no goodbye, no eye contact, no conversation. Just gone to another boat where he was laughing and talking to another crew. I was not happy after spending $600.

Communication with this group prior to our trip was extremely difficult. The crew (captain and first mate) were nice and personable, but we requested lunches and drinks but none were available on the trip. The captain and first mate spent time fishing instead of setting up our group of 5 to fish. Boat was not comfortable for more than 2 people. I would not recommend this merchant to others.
