Full day trip not acceptable
Our Captain though nice would not leave the line of sight of the Arches. I told him a bunch of times “let’s go get Tuna” and he just circled around a small area about 2 miles out or followed the shoreline. The only thing he seemed able to do was get Dorado along the shore. Totally unacceptable. I also asked to get any type of marlin but he just ignored me. The mate tried as best he could and even argued w the captain at one point about it. Do not go out w this boat again. No cooler for boated fish, not nearly enough ice to keep things cooled down, and the engine made a weird whistling sound that hurt my ears. We cruised around the arches AFTER we left for almost 45 minutes waiting on a guy to get us more ice - then he only brought one small bag. Not a good way to start. We then finished fishing and Miguel - our Captain -immediately jumped off the boat with no goodbye, no eye contact, no conversation. Just gone to another boat where he was laughing and talking to another crew. I was not happy after spending $600.
