The captain explained at the beginning of the trip that with 6 people on a four hour fishing excursion and windy conditions that it might be difficult to land any fish. This is because when it’s windy we have to travel further south where conditions are calmer. Also the other charters that were out that day caught nothing bar one charter that found some tuna much later in the afternoon. It’s interesting that you rated the boat and the crew so highly but wouldn’t recommend Rhino Charger Sport Fishing. As you can see by our many other reviews we are one of the most highly rated fishing charters in the area with a string of good testimonies and recommendations. In the future, may I recommend doing a 3/4 day or a full day to maximise your chances of catching fish. We hope you had a great vacation despite the fact and get to return to Tamarindo again soon!
