Today was my 4th or 5th trip out of Pto Aventuras and definitely high on the quality list.  Communication with Gary (Owner) and Captain Eduardo was clear and concise from booking through the morning of the trip.  Eduardo & crew were loaded, rigged and ready to go with the high-frequency angler energy that makes any day a great day of fishing regardless of the outcome.  Pair that with a very productive morning of Yucatán Platform fishing during the tail end of the summer season and you’ve got a 5 star operation that 10/10 would recommend.  We booked a 4 hr trip (8AM -12PM).  Boated a Sailfish + gaffed 5 decent sized Mahi in 3 hrs and then we gladly decided to siesta & swim for the last hour.  Eduardo & crew fileted the 1 bailer sized Mahi that we caught & prepared fresh civeche for us while we swam in beautiful sargassum-free waters inside of the Pto Aventuras jettys.  Great experience and excellent value.  Thank you gentleman…we’ll be back!!!

My primary interest was Sailfish but they weren’t cooperating. We did boat a few Mahi Mahi with one bull. The crew kept the bait clear of all the seaweed and fresh. Eduardo tried his best to find the Sailfish. I fished with other boats at Puerto Adventuras to compare to and definitely would recommend The knotty Hooker crew.

The crew were outstanding!!! Polite, helpful, and tirelessly worked for us to make our day absolutely AMAZING!!! Best deep sea fishing experience of my life. They do not disappoint!!! Book your trip with these guys if you want to catch a lot of fish.

One white marlin, two sailfish, one wahoo, one barracuda and lost at least one other sailfish and wahoo.

Our whole Mexico trip was a bummer till we went fishing for my kids 19th birthday. It changed the whole trajectory of the rest of our vacation. These guys know what they are doing!!
