My dad and I had a fantastic time on our trip! Cody’s brother Derek took us out and we easily caught our limit of trout. He then took us down to another spot where we got a nice-sized bass. Derek was amazingly knowledgeable and a super nice guy. I learned a ton and had a lot of fun. I’d 1000% recommend either of these brothers and I will definitely be looking them up again for my next fishing trip.

Cody’s expertise is incredible—he taught me a new finesse technique (the Neko rig) that helped me land a massive 19-inch smallie. I wanted my 10 year old son to have a memorable first fishing trip. I read reviews for months and Cody’s reviews said he was great with kids. Bonus that he had an 8am trip available in August so we didn’t have to get up super early. My son absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. We got out on the water a couple afternoons ago and had an incredible two hours. Found some great spots, caught bass, and spent most of the time laughing and swapping stories. Cody Spence Spetz clearly knows his stuff—he’s got the experience of a pro fisherman—but what really sets him apart is how great he is with people. Top-notch guide and an even better guy.
