The boat was nice,ย but i think it mY have been Patโs first time taking people fishing on it.ย All we wantednto do was have our kids get a pole and fosh for a few hours.ย instead Pat just has thr lines being towed from thr boat while we drove around.ย we just wanted all thr kids to drop a line in thr water and see what they could catch.
We did get to see dolphins and thr kids loved that part.ย
I would definitely not recommended this experience for anyone looking to fish.ย

It sounds like there may have been a disconnect on the style of fishing for that trip. Trolling (lines behind the boat) is something we do at times depending on conditions, but for family trips โ especially with kids โ we typically focus on hands-on fishing where everyone can actively drop a line and participate.
Thatโs on us for not making sure expectations were clearly aligned before departure. Weโve already addressed this with our crew to ensure every trip is tailored to the group, particularly when kids are involved.
