I can honestly say that we had the best fishing trip with Captain Kevin and his crew. Kevin made our trip really personal and special. He kept us up to date with the weather forecast and even changed the day we fished so we had better weather conditions. On the day Kevin and his crew were friendly and really helpful.
They worked really hard to find us fish and were successful! At one point we had lines going off left right and centre! The boat itself was comfortable and handled the waters well.
I really would highly recommend Captain Kevin and the Coeur De Lion to anyone considering taking a fishing trip in Mauritius. I wish we could take him with us on our next journey!!!

What a great days fishing with Captain Kevin and his crew. 3 very friendly and knowledgeable guys made this a fishing trip of a lifetime. He really knows his stuff and I think the pictures show that.
Captain Kevin was in contact by text several days before we went out and it felt like I already knew him.
The day before we left he contacted me to suggest an earlier start as he knew a fishing area that would do well but a long way from shore and it was well worth it. My sea fishing skills were rusty to say the least but the crew were patient and very helpful.
I’d go fishing with Captain Kevin again any day and if not during this holiday then hopefully next year during Marlin season.

We had to change the pre-booked fishing trip day due to a strong wind and rough sea. We went out for the half day fishing in the morning 3 days later. Kevin suggested to start earlier and we are happy that we did, as we caught all our fish during the first 2 hours. The boat is great and the crew is very helpful. Catching the fish was awesome and we caught 3 Dorado and 3 Tuna - not big catch, but we were happy anyway. Even though, about 70% of the trip was just bouncing along in the boat, we still really enjoyed the trip. As we traveled with children (13, 5 and 4), Kevin had a great idea to finish our deep sea fishing earlier and go fishing on the reef, where children could enjoy the fishing and caught 2 Needlefish. I definitely recommend Coeur De Lion ;)

We had a fantastic trip on board Coeur de Lion on 23rd April 2018.

Kevin visited us at our hotel a couple of days before the trip to organise timings and which day would be best weather wise. Luckily he was up to date with knowledge of the weather as a cyclone has just hit

Even though the weather wasnt great and it was fairly rough we had a great day fishing, 6 dorado caught which my husband was very happy about. He was disappointed not to catch a yellow fin tuna as was Captain Kevin but we were impressed to see how hard they tried to find us one.

Fantastic boat which handled the choppy seas fantastically and Kevein and his team were great.

Fantastic trip all around and we would happily reccomend this trip to anyone.

What an awesome day, these boys were on their game….. Really…Specifically targeting the next catch.

Boat is awesome and spacious, Gear is fantastic although I would have preferred fighting the smaller Yellow Fin on lighter tackle. The gear and boat is extremely well maintained and clean.

Kevin (the Cappie) is an awesome Dude with (you can tell by how they put u on the fish in no time - with no time to rest in between….LOL) and its exhilarating to see how he interacts with his crew (Joe and Johnathan) to keep the “good times rolling”.

And his refreshments and most awesome snack really rounded the trip.
