Had a great days fishing with Keven and crew .My 2nd time fishing with Keven and he did not disappoint .We went 27 nm to Tommy bank and it was alive with fish .Caught some big yellowfin Tuna , Dorado and Wahoo. Great experiance and would highly recommend it to any angler.Thx Keven and crew.

I just got back from a full day trip with Kevin and his team and it was amazing.ย I would highly recommend this trip for anyone who is into some serious fishing for large tuna. With a life time of fishing experience Kevin knew exactly where to go and that led to non stop action We ended up catching 10 yellow tail all over 50lbs. Largest being 80lbs. And a hand full of smaller fish.ย Next time i am in Mauritius i will definitely be in contact with Kevin agian

Day started early 0400 AM, good thing cause then youโre at the fishing grounds in sunrise. We started fishing for live bait, But the fish wasnโt biting. Captain Kevin and his crew really trues everything and worked the area. The we started trolling for Marlin, and after e few hours on of the exciters bursted in large splash! Captain Kevin pushed the throttle, and up of the water jumped a large blue marlin. Unfortuneatly it didnโt take the bait. But the adrenaline sure started to pump! We trolled a bit moore but the Marlin never came back. Then we headed north for some Dorado. Captain Kevin and the crew showed their experience when they read the birds flyingpattern, and knew it was dorado. The fishing was fantastic and we landed eight nice Dorados, they sure give you a fight!
Overall a perfect day, if the Marlin had taken the bait it could have been to perfect, especially since it was my first big game fishing trip

Excellent communication from the instant that I booked my trip ex Cape Town South Africa. Having searched โBest fishing daysโ Mauritius I requested a trip date change from Tues 26/09 & was accomodated on Sunday 24/09 rated as a level 3 fishing day. (Level 4 is BEST & level 1 โworst case scenarioโ) Collection from hotel was suggested for 05h00 instead of 07h00 which I readily accepted as it meant arriving at our fishing point just after sunrise, giving the best possible chance of a catch. Cour de Lionโ 2 man crew: Michael & Jonathan are extremely helpful, knowledgeable & had a phenomenal work ethic. By 10h00 we had landed 9 Dorados varying from 6 >11kgs, I had my โBEST FISHING DAYโ a Mauritian experience that I will treasure forever. This was a Fantastic dayโs fishing I could not have asked for a better skipper on a boat. I have fished all over the world and this was the best all round fishing trip I have ever experienced. We set out at six in the morning and it took us over 1hr to get out to the fishing ground, we started using frozen Flying Fish as bait and we hooked up within 5 minutes a double hooker then we used live bait and the fish just went crazy for the bait we lost quite a few fish and shark took some but for the conditions of the sea we had a very good day out. I canโt thank the Captain and his crew for any more they did a great job !!! I will be using the Coeur De Lion again when I come back next year many thanks Dave.
