Had a great time fishing with Capt. Mike where the Kenai and Russian Ruver meet. We floated downstream and stopped along the river to fly fish for Sockeyes. It didn’t take long to hook up with a beautiful 10 lb female. From then on it was amazing. You can keep three to take home, which I did. Capt. Mike was very polite and helpful. He has plenty of knowledge of the river and the area. The only downside, I didn’t book the whole day trip! If you get the chance…book it.

I really enjoyed the laid back time spent cruising down the river and getting all the background info as we fished. I grew up fishing saltwater, and this fly fishing was a new experience. Couldn’t have done it or landed those I did without the help of Capt Mike. This should be on your list when visiting.
