Donโt hesitate to book a trip with the Poacher! Capt. Devin and mate Spencer were awesome. Worked hard to get us on the fish!ย Comfortable boat. We had a great time!

Last year in August of 2024 we went on the Poacher and had a great time, caught fish all day. This June of 2025 and same great experience.ย Capt Cage and Spencer are professionals and work well together. I had my granddaughter on this trip and they took time to get next to some dolphins and they swam with the boat. It was a good day !
Devin and mate Spencer were great guys and got us on fish quick catching a bunch of Black Sea bass and trigger fish. They were helpful and quick to keep our hooks in the water. Then went for Spanish mackerel and bonitos. Both guys were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go fish the OBX
We were facing some windy weather and the captain communicated with us very well. We opted to go sound side and were still able to take some fish home!
