Great trip! Would definitely do again! Caught fish right off the bat and had a great time! Captain Devin, his daughter and mate Spencer were fantastic! 100% recommend!
Captain Devan and his first mate spencer were fantastic! We took two 10 year old kids out and they had a blast and made it very easy for them to reel in fish even let thwm hand line thwm into the boat. We ended up with about 30 fish. Mostly Spanish mackerel. One big king mackerel, two albacore and a moon fish. We also tried shark fishing but didnt have any luck. Also the dock side fish cleaning was very affordable and fast. $60 with tip! Booked the 6 hour trip.
I told captain Devin I wanted to catch some bigger fish than what I usually caught in the sound with other fishing boats. He told me that there were some big bluefish biting a good ways out so we went out 8 miles off shore. With Devin captaining the boat Spencer the deck hand helped all of us get our rods and reels out into the water and continuously helped us with the fish that we caught. Devin put us on the fish and we ended up with our limit on bluefish. After we hit the limit on bluefish we decided to start fishing for albacore and mackerel while on the way back to the dock. Only ended up with one mackerel but it was an amazing fishing trip. 10/10 recommend captain Devin and his deck hand Spencer. Best trip so far we had a Total of 24 fish between 3 people.
Half-day trip (11:00). 5 adults and one 11 y.o. Had a fantastic adventure. Captain Devon and his mate, Spencer were great. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and laidback. We caught shark (caught the limit - the 11 y.o. reeled in 3), a bunch of moon fish, some Spanish mackeral, and a few blue fish. Would definitely go with Captain Devon/Spencer again.
We had an excellent experience with this outfit. Devin worked diligently to make make sure we caught as many fish as possible and first mate Spencer did an outstanding job of making sure the rods were always ready to roll and we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this crew!
Captain Cage and first mate Spencer were fantastic. Conditions were challenging the week our trip was booked. Capt. Cage worked with us to make sure we could still get out and have a good time. We hit the sound and had fish on almost immediately. We had a great haul of blues and Spanish mackerel. Spencer was like a fish ninja - quickly swapping rods, helping us land fish, and getting the lines right back in the water. The boat was immaculate and packed to the gills with every bit of equipment we could need. I really can’t praise these guys enough. Can’t wait to get back out with them next year!
