Great captain! Cal was very informative and listened to all our crazy stories.  The boat ride was amazing but unfortunately we didn’t get any hits.

Our captain Braxton was a great dude, we really enjoyed hanging out with him and he tried his best.

Our issue was that there was a small boat advisory because of wind. Our other excursion the day prior was cancelled but this one was powering through.  While part of me appreciated still getting out there, I wish the company cancelled our trip.  We charter a boat because we don’t know how to do it and I think the company should have been a bit more prudent with our afternoon.

Maybe if we caught a fish it would have made everything ok, but because we didn’t get a bite for our 3+ hour trip, it ended up being a really expensive afternoon of getting thrown around on a boat for my son’s 10th birthday. 

Braxton was willing to take another lap to try and catch more fish but we asked to come back to the harbor early.

I’d say if you do book then you should take a bit of ownership of whether the conditions merit getting out there because our experience was that the company won’t cancel.

Great group hear took very good care of us. Help us all out and were very upbeat. I would use them again if I didnt just find out boats and me are not good freinds. But we still had a great time.
