Overall great experience with Capt. Shane. We fished the topwater bite most of the morning with excellent action. He put me on my personal best Seatrout (23in) and Snook (37in) and also my very first Redfish which was definitely the highlight of the trip. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who values the use of artificial baits. We will definitely be coming back soon for some Tarpon!!

We were one fly fisherman and one spin caster.  Shane positioned us perfectly for casting, knew the spots to fish, sited fish for us to cast to.  Neither of us were experienced saltwater fishermen and Shane was informative, patient, and he put us on fish.  It was a great day on the water.

This was fishing trip with my 14 year old who wanted to catch Tarpon and Snook.  Captain Shane had us on Tarpon almost immediately and son hooked 8 of them and landed 2 during the night fishing charter.  In addition, my son was able to catch 10 or so snook at the end of the trip.  Highly Recommend and Captain Shane is very sincere and will definitely charter with him on our next father son fishing trip.  Thank you Captain Shane for memories of a lifetime!!

Captain Shane is a GREAT GUIDE!! Not like other guides. He’s a GREAT GUY!!! He strives to give you a great experience!! Most guides give you a character and it seems like there in a hurry to get you off there boat!! And I’ve had a lot of charters!!! We had 2 characters with him 2 days consecutive. He put us on hundreds of tarpon, all trophy fish, mind you, you can’t make the fish bite!!  We threw everything at them, every technique, live bait, artificial and we just couldn’t get them to feed, no one out there could!! We watched dozens of boats get around pods of tarpon literally hundreds, no one hooked up!! Shane went out of his way many EXTRA
hours on the water to make our experience perfect to hook up on a tarpon!! Unfortunately that never happened!! PLEASE REMEMBER FISHING IS NOT ABOUT CATCHING FISH!! IT’S ABOUT AN EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEVER FORGET!! Even though we never hooked up on a fish I know that I found a true friend and a man that LOVES what he does and will go out of his way to make your experience truly UNFORGETTABLE!! Fish or no fish!! My sister and I had a blast fishing with Captain Shane! This was our first time fishing for tarpon. We are used to fishing for Northeast species, so he was patient and thorough, to explain the nuances and tricks, and even helped us cast to the perfect spot.  He had us on the fish the whole time, and the rest of the time underway we enjoyed great conversation. Tarpon are a tricky fish to land. We have a video of me losing my 2nd one, but I can’t post it here because it’s not rated ‘PG’ 🤣. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had fun, and we definitely did.  We are looking forward to booking again with Captain Shane the next time we are in town! If you want to get on the fish, Captain Shane’s experience and knowledge will not disappoint.
