He is a fabulous guide for two novices! He is very responsive, and is exceptional at knowing the moment the weather is going to turn. We had a storm roll in while we were out, and he was able to time it perfectly for us to get packed up and back to our cars. This trip was for a family vacation. My father in law, husband, and 9yr old son were looking for a fun fishing expedition and Captain Mike delivered. He was incredibly patient with our son who has limited experience with fishing and was a great coach to all along the way. They caught a ton of fish and have great pictures to show for it. We had the absolute best time on our fishing trip with Mike and MQT Adventures.  Mike taught my kids how to cast and jig and once they got the hang of it the fish were “jumping” in the boat.  Mike was a great teacher and coach and shared his knowledge about fishing and the area.  We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend!  Thank you for a great memory of our UP vacation!

Capt. Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable about the lake and the species that we were fishing for. He did a great job working to make sure that we continued to catch fish during the entire outing .
