Great Fishing Trip out on Lake Conroe.

Am Half Day Trip3 adults1 child

Had a great time out on Lake Conroe with a great haul on fish. Captain James had everything ready and was very helpful with me and my son (6 yrs old). We will definitely come back for our next trip out on the lake.

    Amazing FISHING charter experience!

    This was our first charter fishing trip, and it exceeded every expectation. We had an incredible day on Lake Conroe and limited out on hybrid striped bass within the first hour, which really speaks to his knowledge of the lake and ability to time it right. We then went to fish catfish which was another hit. We made it out with a full ice chest. He knows exactly where to go and when—it’s not luck, it’s experience. If you’re considering booking, trust him and follow his lead. He was also great with our 12-year-old son—engaging, patient, and made the whole experience fun and easy from start to finish. Watching him clean the fish was definitely a memorable moment 😅 Highly recommend. We’ll absolutely be back.

    Really glad we booked this fishing trip with James. It was a group of 4 of us, including my father, 8 year old son and wife. We all had great catches and overall really enjoyed our time on the water. James is a fantastic guide. He made every effort to ensure we got a good amount of fish and went above and beyond by cleaning, filleting and bagging all the fish we caught. He really helped make this a wonderful family memory. We already can’t wait to go back and when we do, we will absolutely be booking with James again.

    Awesome fishing trip

    We had such a fun & successful fishing trip with James, he's a great captain & fishing guide. My 19y/o son & 8 y/o daughter both had a blast & caught lots of fish. The boat was very nice & had plenty of room for our family of 4. He was quick to help us with our catch & kept fresh bait on all our poles. James is very nice, funny & knowledgeable. He even let my 8 y/o help him filet our fish, she thought that was so cool. We will definitely book James again for our next fishing trip at Lake Conroe.

    We've caught more fish today than we ever had in one day

    Am hybrid striped bass trip • 4 adults

    My son, his childhood friend and myself had the best time fishing on Lake Conroe today with Captain James Macik. Captain James is a very nice person, a knowledgeable guide, and does just about everything for you, he even cleaned the fish, which came to be about 30. I think we caught double that amount but couldn't keep them. If you want a great fishing experience on Lake Conroe, go see Captain James Macik at Fish Head Water Sports. You won't be disappointed.

    First Time Fisherman’s Best Friend!

    Am or Pm catfish trip your choice • 5 adults • 2 children

    This was my six year old son’s first fishing trip. Captain James had us catching fish but even more important, it was a great experience for my son. Captain James was super patient, had great banter and taught my son a ton! I can’t wait until we can head back out with Captain James! One thing to keep in mind, if you are booking for Sunday, there is a weekly tournament that launches from the same marina so there can be a little traffic.
