We caught a SHARK !!!

We had an amazing time with Swan Point Charters! It was me, my husband, and our three boys — and this trip was one for the books! We caught several Spanish mackerel and even landed a shark, which the boys are still bragging about. Captain was incredible — friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the waters. He made sure each of our boys had a hands-on, memorable experience and took the time to explain everything in a way they could understand and enjoy. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it shows in how he runs his charters. If you’re looking for a family-friendly adventure on the water with a guide who knows his stuff and makes it fun from start to finish, Swan Point Charters is the way to go. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

    Bull Reds!!

    6 Hour Trip – pop and cork Old Drum • 6 adults • 3 children

    I booked with Capt Gaskill because I really wanted to see my son catch his first bull red and focus on reds. Capt Gaskill listened and understood the limitations of his crew. To top it off we faced some last minute nasty winds and rains in the forecast. Capt delivered up a solid fishing plan to keep the kids dry and comfortable and went out of his way to still put us on bull reds. Capt enthusiastically answered my questions about the fishery in the area and inshore patterns of these big NC reds. As an added bonus My son got his first bull red and my wife and sister both got C&R citation bull reds. Highly recommend Capt. Jeff Gaskill and we’re looking forward to the next trip!

    Best Shark Fishing Charter Around

    4 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing • 6 adults

    We had an awesome experience with Swan Point Charters today! We went shark fishing with a group of six guys, and there was plenty of room on the boat for everyone to fish comfortably. The weather was beautiful, the water was calm, and Captain made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. He took us to the spot he thought would give us the best chance at sharks. When the bite was slow, he didn’t waste time—he moved us to another location, and we started catching sharks right away. It was clear he knew the area well and was determined to put us on fish. If you’re looking for a great shark fishing charter, we definitely recommend Swan Point Charters. We’ll absolutely be back!

    Great 3/4 day trip

    We booked a 3/4-day trip with Swan Point Charters, and it exceeded every expectation. Captain Jeffrey worked hard from start to finish, making sure we stayed on fish all day. We started by catching live bait and then headed out to target bigger species. The action was nonstop. We landed cobia, grouper, barracuda, and amberjack, with plenty of opportunities throughout the trip. The captain’s knowledge of the local waters and ability to find productive spots was impressive. Every move he made seemed to put us right back on the fish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and all of the gear was top-notch. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a great day on the water, Swan Point Charters delivers a first-class experience. Captain Jeffrey is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone is included in the trip from the youngest to the oldest.

    Great Day on the Water

    Had a fantastic 3/4 day trip with Swan Point Charters out of Morehead City. The captain and first mate were both extremely helpful, professional, and worked hard all day to keep everyone on fish. We caught a ton of fish and had steady action throughout the trip. The boat was large, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the equipment/tackle provided was high quality. You could tell they take pride in running a first-class operation. Great experience overall for both experienced anglers and families. Highly recommend Swan Point Charters if you’re looking for a fun offshore trip with a hardworking crew and a quality boat.

    Nice relaxing evening fishing trip

    We had an overall nice experience on our 2 hour sunset fishing trip with Jeff our fishing guide. The weather was windy and the water was choppy at first which was concerning. But we each caught 3 small fish on the two poles that Jeff rigged up for us. The one negative experience was not having a life jacket offered to us for the ride out to the area we went fishing in. Safety should always be the first priority on trips such as these. But after we arrived at our destination we were supplied life jackets and everything was fine.
