My family and friends entered Captain Joseph’s boat laughing and experiencing great vibes and we exited his boat laughing and having experienced Captain Joseph’s impressive stand up comedy routine, knowledgeable q&a sessions, and control and devotion as a boat captain! Prior to the trip, I referred him to other people in town, and after the trip, my crew and I are already spreading the word to book Captain Joseph for your fishing guide. All the adults loved his hustle and down to earth personality. And we caught fish - King Salmon among our catches!

    Wonderful September Trip

    Full Day Trip • 6 adults • 2 children

    Great trip with Captain Joe and first mate Cam. Got us right on a great bite and kept us there despite some weather. Both were very professional and did a great job with our group including my 12 year old son. Boated our first laker right away and got our limit. Would highly recommend these guys for a great time

    Texans Having Fun

    We live in Texas and often to Bay Fishing off of the Gulf Coast. This trip off of Superior was so different; but so awesome! The boat was HUGE!!! and it had a great rig set up--- lots of poles going and very successful! We have never caught salmon before! It was delish as well :) The Captain and his Hand were wonderful with tips, tricks and recommendations around Duluth. Def made our trip to MN awesome.

    My wife and our three young children went out for an afternoon trip with Captain Joe and his first mate Cam! They handled our sassy daughter and energetic smart a** boys very well with good banter and professionalism! They put us on fish in a July afternoon and was exactly what we were looking for and more with the kiddos along! We will definitely use them again when we are in the area!

    Great Trip for Trout and Salmon!

    Half Day Trip • 2 adults

    Took my 8 year old avid fisherman on his first Lake Superior charter and caught his first Lake Trout, Coho Salmon, and King Salmon! Had a great time and Captain got us on the bite quickly. He was great at answering questions and getting the fish in the boat!

    We did very well on Coho Salmon. Captain Joseph knows what he is doing and put us on the fish. We did exceptionally well and came away with 10 beautiful eater size Coho. First mate Cam is a hard worker and did a great job at helping everyone out as well. Thank you guys!
