We had an amazing day with Destin Bay Fishing Charters. Huge shoutout to Captain Keller for making the trip fun, relaxed, and memorable for our whole family. He gave great fishing instruction, kept everyone involved, and made sure we got the most out of our time on the water. His fillet skills afterward were seriously impressive, too. The best part was taking our fresh catch straight to Dewey Destin’s Harborside and having it cooked three different ways. Fresh fish, salty air, great company, and an experience our family will definitely remember. We had a blast on our trip. Keller was an amazing captain and helped with everything from getting us to a great spot, baiting our line, being so kid friendly, and educating our young kids on how to catch fish. We had a lot of success catching a wide range of quality fish on our excursion. We had the option to keep or release our catch. It was a great short trip for young kids who can't handle a full day. Can't say enough great things about our experience. Thank you Keller for a wonderful day!
We took our 8 yr old on his first saltwater fishing trip, and he had a great experience! We caught several kinds of fish and a stingray. We only took the two hour trip, but our guide told us when we caught our first Redfish, that we had an Inshore Slam. We had already caught a Flounder and a Speckled Trout. We plan to book them again the next time we come to Destin.
Last minute decision to book a bay fishing trip with my daughters ages 16 & 7. We had storms the morning of but communication was good and we were able to start later in the afternoon. Slow start but found the pot of gold, finishing the afternoon with lots of fun redfish! Caught our 3 keepers but had a blast catch and releasing. We will definitely be out again!
Great Experience! Although not expected, everyone caught at least one fish if not more. It was so much fun for my family to get out on the water. Plus thanks to the guide and bonus points to my sister for catching a 13lb monster red fish! It was insane! And will be choosing them again for a future fishing adventure.
