An afternoon trip, 11am to 3pm, and we still maxed out on Lake Trout. We also caught a King, a Cisco, and a HUGE Steelhead. 1 fish total. What a day. Captain Ben knew exactly where to go and what to use. In addition to all of that he was courteous, respectful, and fun to fish with.
We had a really great trip with Ben. He messaged me the night before to confirm and suggested that we leave an hour earlier because we might have better luck. We appreciated that he cared about our experience enough to come in an hour earlier. The boat was very clean and I enjoyed how he explained all the equipment and methods. We caught several trout and Ben masterfully fileted our haul -- when eating the fish that night, we all commented on how there were almost no bones in the filets. We had 8 people at the dinner table and we still had plenty of fish left over. This was a lot of fun and we'll book Ben again next summer.
Ben was flexible and made the day easy. Weather delayed our original plan, but Ben communicated ahead of time and adjusted our booking for the following day. He did well explaining everything thing on the boat and answering our boys’ questions. Each of my sons (3) caught their limit in trout. Due to some changing conditions during the trip, Ben adjusted on the fly and we finished off the day with a big salmon. The boys had a great time, and we definitely recommend Ben.
The whole family (including our 6 & 8 year old sons) had a great time. We caught a lot of fish, mainly Trout, but a few King Salmon (even though it's typically not the season for them). He was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with. We had no trouble catching fish, but I know he would have tried really hard if the fish weren't so active to get us some bites. Our kids enjoy fishing more then we do, but even mom had a great time fishing! Just book it, you won't be disappointed!

We booked our first ever charter trip with Capain Ben to surprise our son for his 11th Birthday. We got out early and caught 12 fish! He was great with our son, explained what to do and enourged to keep reeling in those long lines. 100% Recommend. We already booked with Captain Ben for his Birthday next year.
We had a great trip with Captain Ben and his First Mate Jackson! The first 40 minutes started off slow and then the fishing turned on for the next 2 hours or so. My wife caught a salmon, a big drum, a monster rainbow and we limited out on lake trout. We caught well over 20 fish and left with 6 good keepers. I'm very glad we took this trip. We had to reschedule when our plans changed, but Captain Ben was great to work with. Great trip! Thanks Ben and Jackson!
