I have been on over 40 charters and I booked the Josie Mac for the first time for 2 days. I specifically booked with the Josie Mac because I was taking my son and 10 year old grand daughter on her first ocean trip. The Josie Mac has the sea tracker system that takes out 95% of the rocking of the boat.. my grand daughter did great both days with absolutely no motion sickness. She can’t wait to go again! The captain was awesome and very knowledgeable. If you are planning a trip and are worried of sea sickness I 100% recommend the Josie Mac it is without a doubt the safest and calm charter I have ever experienced. Totally amazing boat! We’re booking again next year.

    Great Day on the SF Bay!

    We had a great day fishing for Halibut on the Josie Mac and our Captain Ken was a very good guide. Although we were only able to land 1 keeper we must have caught over 50 fish. The day on the water with views of SF, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Bay Bridge was fantastic. We had calm water for the most part but Cpt. Ken’s beautiful and well kept boat had gyro electronics that kept the boat from rocking… never had that before, it was quite amazing. It wasn’t the day for catching limits of halibut (keepers) but I would definitely recommend the Josie Mac for future trips!

    Amazing time with captain Ken!

    A couple of buddies and I booked Ken for a trip we were planning. He was excellent with communication, had a first class boat and great knowledge of the area! We all got into some Halibut and a few really nice sized ones! I have a history of sea sickness and his boat stabilization made the trip super smooth and no sickness at all. Would highly recommend Captain Ken!

    Great time on the water

    Great time out on the water with captain Ken. Although the weather and water conditions werent perfect. We had a Ton of shakers and some keepers on the boat. Very clean boat and well equipped perfect for a family trip or guys trip. Cant go wrong booking a trip with Ken especially for any folks prone to motion sickness. His Sea keeper keeps that boat nice and steady.

    Thanks Harold I’m glad we still managed to get you on some fish and put a few keepers in the boat. The SeaKeeper definitely makes a big difference on those days when conditions aren’t ideal, especially for anyone prone to motion sickness.Thanks again for coming out — hope to have you back on the water again on a better day with even better fishing.

    Lots of shaker halibut .......

    Boat had state of the art equipment including a Seakeeper which my wife loved. Tides were big which isn't ideal for halibut but we caught about 20 shaker halibut. Captain Ken worked hard to get us on fish. I would go out with him again.👍

    Captain Ken Payne is a master of his craft was the friendliest most knowledgeable person I’ve ever had the pleasure of going fishing with he took the time to explain how to fish and what to expect all of us caught or limited of fish. Great time.
