Took my Dad on an all day Sturgeon trip, the morning started off extremely foggy and cold. But The Captain kept us in the game!! we had a great time with james and randy. all of us were catching halibut left and right all day. randy was an excellent deck hand. james and randy actually let us fish. randy baited hook and we done rest. did not feel like we were watching someone else fish for us. highly recommended and will definitely book with james again

On the car ride home, my kid said it was the happiest day of his life. He’ll be talking about this trip for a long time. Thank you Captain James and Randy! You guys were great and really patient.

I’ma single mom with two teens who grew up fishing in Minnesota. I know enough, but not much - so Captain James and DeckBoss Randy’s expertise and experience really shined. We’ve done several other charters and none have been as much fun, nor as successful as our trip with NorCal Traditions. James knew where to go and Randy was super helpful getting the fish in the boat! You can’t go wrong with this team and we look forward to future adventures!
