Caught a mixed mess of fish!

3/4 Day Trip – Bottom/Trolling6 adults1 child

According to the website, we were told we would catch Mahi Mahi, grouper, Amber Jack, along with others. Caption Crag was very up front to tell us that on a 6 hour trip, we would likely only catch red snapper, but he would try his best to put us on others. He stated that the website is through a 3rd party and they put what the need to to get people to book trips. WE LOVED HIS UPFRON HONESTY!!! With that said, we did catch our limit of reds, but we also caught some small Mahi Mahi (my fav!), trigger fish, Spanish mackerel, and a cobia. Max, the deck hand and Captian Corey were super stoked about the cobia. All in all, it was a great trip and we will definitely go with Corey again!

    Half Day Trip – Trolling (PM) • 4 adults

    We were trolling for fish within 15 mins or leaving anytime we moved locations. Captain Corey and Brandon are wonderful, constantly moving us to where the fish were and baiting the hooks and handling the fish so all we had to do was hook ‘em and reel them in! We caught Spanish Mackerel and Vermilion Red (snappers) and a random Mahi and Trigger Fish, but those weren’t for keeping—just a fun afternoon and we have fish dinner for 2 days :).

    Greatest trip by far

    3/4 Day Trip – Bottom/Trolling - 6:00 AM • 6 adults • 2 children

    We took our entire family on a 6-hour charter aboard Wahoo Dat with Captain Corey and deckhand Max, and they were outstanding from start to finish. Every aspect of the trip was top-notch. We caught plenty of red snapper, even while many other boats were struggling. Captain Corey knew exactly where to put us and got the job done. Deckhand Max was incredibly helpful, especially with our little kids, making sure they had a great time and got to catch fish too. This was an unforgettable trip, and there’s no question who we’ll be booking with next time. Highly recommend Captain Corey and Max if you’re looking for an amazing fishing charter!

    Fantastic fishing - Must do

    Fantastic fishing trip. the Captain knew where to go and would move frequently to ensure we were constantly getting the fish. The deck hand Max was hussling hard to keep our lines constantly baited and getting the fish of the boat. Very comfortable boat and everyone had a great time. We will be back and hope we can book with them again.

    Great Boat, Captain, & Crew

    As all of us do, we work hard to come play. I reached outto the captain and got an instant response. We talked and he made his recommendations. We booked the five hour for the next afternoon. Great communication, captain set us to go earlier in the day due to the conditions. We hooked up soon as we stopped and continued till we all had our limits. The mate Jackson was very attentive to us and especially our 8yo, he kept her on tight lines reeling them in. Awesome trip, will book again.

    These guys are top notch! Starting off, Captain reached out the night before and offered up early departure the next day due to some possible bad weather in the afternoon. Then he put us on fish immediately when we hit the fishing grounds. First mate was absolutely awesome. Both him and the captain were in constant communication, letting our family know how far to let the bait drop, then BAM, fish on. Finished with some hook and cook right at the dock. Fantastic day!!! Thanks guys
