Half Day Trip AM-5 hours • 2 adultsGreat captain and a fantastic fishing experience in Newport Beach. From the beginning, it was clear he knew the area, the timing of the bait, and where the fish were likely to show up. At one point, he positioned the boat near some sea lions, and I initially thought they might ruin the fishing because they started eating the bait. But shortly after, the sea lions disappeared — and we hooked two yellowtail and 10 sand bass. It really felt like the captain knew exactly what he was doing and had confidence that this spot would produce. What I appreciated most was how motivated he was to teach me. He wasn’t just trying to put fish on the boat; he took the time to explain the techniques and help me become a better fisherman. Knowledgeable and passionate about fishing. I’d definitely fish with him again.

Half Day Trip - 12:30 PM • 4 adultsTook our 18 year old son and his girlfriend for Ann afternoon of fishing. Captain Shannon was prompt, the boat squeaky clean and the weather was perfect. We had an absolute blast, Shannon is knowledgeable, engaging and just a whole lot of fun! Everyone caught a ton of fish (within the limits), Shannon cleaned and bagged them at the end and now we have some delicious meals planned to continue the memories of a beautiful afternoon. I would 10/10 highly recommend for novices or semi-pros looking for an experience like on other.

Half Day Trip AM-5 hours • 3 adultsWe had a great time with Captain Shannon and Sealutions. He was patient and really helpful to each of us. We ended up catching 8 different species of fish and took them to the restaurant to have them cooked up. They were delicious! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone!
