Captain David and mate Evan were fantastic. We all laughed and had fun. Fishing was great. By 8:35 a.m. we had 5 striped bass, and one shark that broke off. Then we went and limited out on Black Sea Bass. Some scup and a blue fish. This is our group’s third charter and by far the best. The boat is very comfortable our group of 8 had plenty of room. Look forward to booking with Captain David again.
We had a party of 10, half of which were first timers in their teens. Captain Dave tailored our experience to the conditions of the ocean and what Mother Nature was giving us - and boy did she deliver. We got into a school of bluefish and had over 25 landed in under an hour. It was quite the scene and awesome to see kids who couldn't catch a cold in winter doing this. Evan, the first mate, was outstanding with everyone, young and old and would be quite capable as a Captain himself someday. A perfect laidback day all around with memories to last lifetimes. There is no need to book anywhere else. "The hook brings you back"!
Great trip out with best captain and crew you can find in Point Judith. Non stop bites and fish on the line. Dave kept us in the right areas. We got to see a massive bluefin tuna actively eat the floater fish left behind by the scraper boats. They taught us about safety and regulations as well.
Capt. Dave and First Mate Even were phenomenal! Super knowledgeable of the area off the coast of Block Island where we spent our day reeling in dozens of fish. including a few stripers that were absolute monsters!
Dave and Evan are outstanding!!! we could not have had a better day if we tried. between stripers, sharks, sea bass, and the others i can’t remember, it was the perfect experience. And for my son’s first trip out, to see him reel in a fish the same size as him is an amazing experience. These guys are great all around!!
The captain and crew worked hard to find the fish ans put us in some really nice striped bass! we had a great time!
