Mako 2 Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of Narragansett.
Species like Bluefish, Flounder, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Striped Bass, Tautog, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. You’ll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 43’ Bulger sportfishing vessel with capacity for 10 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
