Great With Kids!!!

Oregon Inlet- Half Day4 adults2 children

I brought my boys, 8 and 11, for a half day trip with Captain Esben and he did not disappoint. The program he provided was perfect for the boys. We started at Oregon Inlet and headed to area where we anchored and waded for hermit crabs. The kids loved finding them. Knowing getting bites was the most important thing, we targeted sheepshead off pylons. Captain Esben was a great teacher for the kids, explaining the technique and the fishes tendencies. Naturally, there were tangled lines and plenty of clumsiness with the kids. He handled it with incredible patience and ease. My youngest asked so many questions - most of them were like “have you ever been stung by a jellyfish” — and he answered all of them with a smile. Most of all, we landed plenty of fish and had some Carolina Brewery drinks to celebrate. As my oldest said “Captain Esben is a chill dude.” Highly recommend.

    Flats fly fishing

    Oregon Inlet- Half Day • 1 adult

    It was a nice sunny day with a bit of a breeze that picked up as the day went on. It took a bit to find a school but we found a large school of red drums and blues. We caught then lost the school but we kept searching. We then set out to find fish on another flat. Finally, we found more but to no avail. Capt Esben was patient and taught me a lot about fly fishing in salt water since this was my second time. We had a great time and would recommend this charter anytime. I wish we had booked for a longer day but that’s all we had time for today. What are your thoughts on paying for a charter and the captain fishing? I don’t mind as long as it doesn’t impede upon my CATCHING time.

    Five Stars – Incredible Experience for the Whole Family

    We had an outstanding experience with Title Pursuits! Captain Esben was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly patient with our three young kids and made sure they had an amazing time from start to finish. Even though the fish weren’t biting particularly well, he worked hard all morning to put us on fish, and we ended up catching a nice Spanish mackerel. More importantly, he made the trip about the entire experience. He let the kids jump off the boat to swim, took us to a beautiful little sandbar where they could play in the water, and made sure everyone was having fun the whole time. We also got to see so many dolphins, which was a huge highlight for our family. Captain Esben was personable, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our kids’ questions throughout the trip. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and wants his guests to have a memorable experience. If you’re looking for a family-friendly fishing charter with a captain who truly goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend Title Pursuits and Captain Esben enough. We would absolutely book with him again!

    There is no mistaking why all Captain’s reviews are five star. Capt. Boxer is top notch level. We targeted sheepshead and he had us on them in the first five minutes. We brought supper home! would highly recommend for familys as hos demeanor is amazing. This was our first trip with him, but wont be our last. We will be booking for next time we are here. looking forward to targeting something else next time. The boat was super clean and the gear and bait were perfect. Thank you Captain!

    Fun day on the water

    Oregon Inlet- 3/4 day • 4 adults

    Spent 6 hrs on the water today and had a great time. Super clean boat, top of the line equipment, and Capt Ebsen works hard to put fish on the boat. Fishing for sheepshead was a great new experience for us, too. Some days the fish do not want to cooperate but we had a great time none the less. Definitely recommend a day on the water with with Tidal Pursuit if you're in Nags Head!

    Great OBX fishing

    it was a beautiful day, a bit breezy, but Capatain Esben got us settled in and we found a good spot for some sheepshead (plan on eating for lunch tomorrow) and went on thr hunt for black drum - Capatain Esben was great and stalked the drum but just wouldnt bite today. They were monsters. Would recommend ans go again.
